Rural Placement Accommodation
The University of Tasmania welcomes you to apply for rural placement accommodation. Accommodation is currently available close to local health facilities in 19 rural communities across Tasmania. Accommodation is provided free of charge to support domestic, Commonwealth Supported students from all health disciplines, to undertake placements in rural communities. Accommodation is limited and in high demand. Please ensure your placement is confirmed before applying.
If you have an active accommodation account, please follow the below steps to login or register.
Existing Users
You are an existing user if:
1. You have previously stayed in rural placement accommodation
2. You previously used this portal for accommodation requests
Click Login below and enter your university email address (the one you provided in your previous application) and password.
If you have forgotten your password simply click on FORGOTTEN PASSWORD. When you receive your reset email (allow time for this to come through and check your junk box if you don't receive it), click to set a new password for access.
New Users
You need to register if:
1. You have not stayed in rural placement accommodation before, or
2. You stayed in UTAS accommodation prior to 2015
Simply enter your personal information, phone number and login details. You will then be able to apply for accommodation.
